Refund and Returns Policy

When it’s just not right…what then?

SpeckledFISH knows that buying items online can be challenging. We try our best to accommodate when online purchases just don’t work out.

So, we offer the following return & refund policy:

  1. We ask that you haven’t worn any clothes you bought at SpeckledFISH before you consider returning your purchase for a refund.
  2. We ask that non-clothing items are in their original condition.
  3. We’d love to offer you a replacement if that’s what you would prefer.
  4. We need to take a look at any returns before we extend a refund.
  5. Once we receive your return and look it over, as long as it’s in good shape, we’ll issue a refund back to the original payment method.
  6. We offer a 60-day return policy.
    • If you get one of our clothing items; don’t like it; follow the instructions below for returns.
    • As long as we get it within 60 days of the purchase date and the clothing item is in good condition:
      • We’ll issue the refund to the original payment method.

Here’s how to send in your return:

  1. Send us an email at and include the following details:
    • Order #:
    • Reason for the Return:
    • Copy of your shipping receipt
  2. We will review your email and follow up with details on how to submit your return.
  3. When you get those details, please:
    • Package your item so it can be safely shipped to SpeckledFISH.
    • Include your return address.
    • Include these items inside the package:
      • The item you bought.
      • The original purchase receipt.
      • The order number.
      • The email address associated with your SpeckledFISH account.
    • Ensure the package is safe for its travels back to SpeckledFISH.
    • Send the package to the SpeckledFISH returns address we send you in the above email.

What about exchanges?

We welcome the opportunity to exchange items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at and let us know what is wrong with your purchase. We’ll respond with instructions on how we’ll manage the exchange.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts or pieces that SpeckledFISH didn’t cause.
  • Any item that is returned more than 60 days after purchase

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the status of your refund.

If we find the purchased item in reasonable condition, SpeckledFISH will process your refund, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, typically within 5-10 business days.

Oh boy! What happens if the refund doesn’t show up?

If you haven’t received a refund yet, please double check your bank account.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at and include the same information you included in the returned item’s package.

What if I purchased a sale items?

Any refunds will be for the amount you paid, excluding shipping costs.

For any return:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for any exchanged product to reach you may vary.

We recommend that you consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. As much as we’d like to control the entire return process, we simply can’t guarantee the shipper will get the returned item to us.
